RETURN TO THE SUGAR GRIND

Dinner with MrLocal went well as expected. We basically recapped a few things we discussed our first meet, and were not hesitant to discuss each of our expectations from a sugar relationship. Once again he expressed his desire to only have one SB. He is looking for more of a girlfriend in the aspect that he wants to get to know his SB on more of a personal level. I am open to this, but I was also straightforward in expressing that I am only looking for a once a month meeting with my SD since that is all my schedule allows, and also all I personally want to dedicate of my real life to being a SB. We are both fair and easy natured people, so it was easy to accept one another’s wants without having to forego our own idealities.

I find myself actually a bit physically attracted to MrLocal which is a definite plus. He told me how he has a daughter that is a few months younger than me which was a bit of a turnoff for me initially, but at this point I would take that over him being attached to a significant other. Because he isn’t I understand his want of more of a girlfriend, rather than just a SB he’s only involved with when face-to-face with her. My only concern is that he will want more of my attention than I am willing to give him when we are in between visits.

We ended dinner on the note that I will keep in touch, and once I return back to school and my schedule is more clear we will decide the next date we will meet. I told him that I am open to flying to where he lives, or wherever his business happens to bring him on the dates we can get together. I told him though I would rather him not come to my college town because it's just too much of a risk with us going out and me running into people I know... awkwarddd.

I also told him the amount I was receiving for allowance per month from my last SD, and he said that the number I mentioned is no problem for him. Of course I will up the ante once we spend more than just a 2 hour meal together -patience is a virtue when it comes to this lifestyle, BUT you have to be careful not to mix up being patient and being a pushover! My next post will come once I have seen MrLocal again. I am about to be busy with getting settled back into my city where I study, and also getting my schedule organized once school starts back up soon. Until then I will see you ladies on facebook x3

I'M BACK!

That's right ladies, Sunny is back!.. and somewhat earlier than anticipated. I was planning on waiting until December to once again begin my life in the sugar world, but decided to take the reigns a bit earlier -and lets just say the horse is already running. As some of you may notice, I am also blogging in a more proper grammatical style (e.g. using capitals) - don't worry though it's still me! I have matured a bit during my hiatus, and have done a hell of a lot with my hard earned sugar money from last year. One being that I traveled out of the country for almost a month, and had some of the most incredible experiences!

When logging onto my sugar fb account I must say that the amount of girls apart of this community has practically quadrupled since me being fully involved. WOW! I see this as a good and bad thing. I hope that the community has been remaining sane, positive, and encouraging. Unfortunately, I have remained in touch with one of our fellow SBs during my break (she was with me and the few other SBs who originally started the sugar fb community) and she has said quite the contrary. It really makes me sad that some ladies are turning , what is suppose to be a nonjudgmental and encouraging outlet for sugars, into a catty arena full of bigotry. No matter how long you have been in this lifestyle: a day, a month, years.. I feel no one should be ostracized, but rather guided and gently pushed in the right direction. Of course this is not everyone in the community, but enough for me to feel the need to point it out in my post. We should all remember that all of us had to start somewhere with this lifestyle!

I know I personally look back at my early posts, and sometimes think "WTF was I thinking/doing/saying?!" Thanks to my willingness to learn from my mistakes though, and the kindness of the SBs who were more experienced than me at that time, I became a stronger SB. I hope those of you who are more of a senior in this lifestyle can use your experiences to teach/guide those girls who are newer to this lifestyle; not use your seniority as an excuse for a powertrip to judge and criticize.

"It is just as cowardly to judge a person as it is wicked to strike a defenseless one. Only the ignorant and narrow-minded gossip, for they speak of persons instead of [intellectual] things."
-Lawrence G. Lovasik

Anywho, I am still a bit ambivalent about entering back into this lifestyle. I figured I would need to start from scratch on the sites which I was NOT looking forward to.. but I actually had a message in my sugar e-mail account from MrLocal, the last pot I met before taking my break. He is more than likely coming to my city for dinner! Like I have mentioned before: I move fast, lol. I will post after our meet. It went well for him and me our very first meet, so I am curious to see if months of not seeing one another makes a difference. Crossing fingers that I already have an SD very soon again! x3
